About Us

Wheel Well was founded in 2012 to form a base for the Car Seats for Kids campaign.
We are still the only non-profit organisation that focus exclusively on road safety for children in South Africa.
We raise awareness, educate motorists, and aim to affect changes to legislation. Our focus areas are children as passengers in private and public transport, as well as children as pedestrians.
Our Car Seats for Kids campaign has been running for 12 years and over 11 000 children are now in car seats as a result.
From our in depth work with car seats, we have obtained a unique set of skills and insight into car seats. It is that knowledge that we would like to share with you.
